In the Autumn Term in Columba we have 2 topics: People Who Help Us and Back In Time.

People Who Help us is a geography-based topic, and we will be focussing on learning about our local community, and we will do lots of map work, physically, drawing and observing.

We will have visits from the local community, including the police, the fire service and members of the NHS.

We will learn about different occupations and think about what we might like to be when we grow up.

Back in Time is a History based Topic, We will be looking at the work of Florence Nightingale, we will compare our families and make family trees, we will look at and compare old and new toys.  We will learn about Soldiers on Remembrance Day.
