Autumn term

In the Autumn term we have a Science focus based on Light and Sound. We call this unit ‘Illuminate and Resonate’. The children will learn about light sources including the sun, if these are natural sources or man-made, how we have night and day, why we have our seasons, where sound comes from, that sound travels in waves and many more interesting facts.

We experiment with light in many different ways using torches and explore shadows.
