Celebrating 100 Years since the end of WW1. 

Bright poppy collages were created by Early Years, Year 1 created huge poppies for the windows and made soldiers, Year 2 cut and painted poppies and wrote imaginative acrostic poems, Year 3 created life size images of soldiers filled with painted poppies and wrote shape poems about the war and Year 4 created some amazing sunset art work.

All the classes took part in an assembly with parents and carers where we sang songs from the war and shared our learning.  

Our artwork and poems are on display in our library area along with the unknown soldier.
